Welcome to my outrageous life!

So many people have asked me why I'm writing this book I thought I'd put the answer right here on my website. I started this book because I've had an amazing life. You can read some of the stories right here. I didn't realize that writing this book would completely change my life. Now I want to reach out to other women dealing with addiction and toxic relationships, women feeling trapped, helpless and afraid. I want you to know that I finally became the woman I always wanted to be. I am determined to live out the rest of my life, sober, happy and loving myself.

Oh, and by the way, that's why I titled the book No Regrets. I truly have no regrets, because everything I've done, bad or good, has led me here.

Everyone you read about on this site is real. The names have not been changed because no one is innocent. Okay, I don't use everyone's name, but every story really happened. You're not going to believe it. Don't worry about it. Half the time I don't believe everything I've lived through and all the amazing things I've experienced.

I mean, I'm just a nice middle class Irish Catholic girl from Kansas City who should have married a nice Irish Catholic boy and raised a dozen little Catholic kids in the same middle class neighborhood that I grew up in.

Instead, I married a trust fund baby, survived a 15 year addiction to Heroin and Crack Cocaine (23 years sober as of August 4, 2009), almost ended up in the witness protection program, hobnobbed with the rich and famous and spent my summers on the Italian Riviera.

Come on in. Trust me. I have no regrets and you won't be bored.
